Steel Sealed Belt Bucket Conveyor,Food Rubber Bucket Elevator
TD bucket elevator uses centrifugal unloading method or compound unloading method. It applies to conveying abrasion resistant or half abrasion resistant materials, such as powder, granule, small block, but the material temperature must be less than 60ºC. When material temperature is between 60~200ºC, it must use heat resistant rubber belt. Hoisting height can be 4~40m and conveying capacity is 4~238m³/h. TD bucket elevator is widely used in coal, cement, gravel, sand, fertilizer and grain, etc.
Structure
TD bucket elevator is comprised of running parts, hopper, transfer belt, drive roller, tension roller, intermediate shell, drive equipment etc.
Working Principle:
While powered on, the driving device (made by customer's requests) drives head pulley to make the bucket belt do the circular motion from bottom to top. The bucket is filled with material and conveyed to the head terminal, and then the material is thrown from the outlet under the action of centrifugal force according to the parabolic design. After discharging, the empty bucket is conveyed back to the foot and is filled up again, and then lifted from bottom to the top to the specified height to reach conveying vertically.

Application
High quality vertical belt type bucket elevator/conveyor/lifting machine is used for transferring the materials in form of powder, granular, small block non-abrasive, half-abrasive with bulk density less than 1.5t/m3, such as coal, cement, gravel, sand, fertilizer and grain etc.
Working Principle
While it is energized, the driving device drives pulley to make the bucket belt doing the circular motion from bottom to up.
The bucket is filled with material and is conveyed to the head terminal, and then the material is thrown from the outlet under the action of centrifugal force according to the Parabolic design.After discharging, the empty bucket is back to the boot by conveying and be filled again, and then lifted up to do parabolic motion such repeated cycle.The material is lifted from bottom to the top to the specified height to reach conveying vertically.

Troubleshooting of hopper belt slipping
Bucket elevator uses the friction between the hopper belt and the head wheel drive shaft to lifting material. If the hopper belt strength is not enough the hopper belt will slip. At this time, you should shut down the machine immediately and adjust the take-up unit to tension the hopper belt. If the take-up unit can't make the hopper belt fully tension, this shows that the take-up unit work distance is too short, you should re-adjusted it.
The better solution is: open the joint of hopper belt, adjust the take-up unit in on the tail wheel to the highest position, put the hopper belt via head of elevator, threading head wheel and tail wheel and connected tail and head well, then the hopper belt will keep the tension but not fully tension state. In this case adjustment spindle of the take-up unit work distance should not less than 50% of the whole work distance. |
When bucket elevator is overloading, the resistance torque will be increased and make the hopper belt slipping. In this case, you should reduce the feeding material and try to feeding uniformly. If it didn't work, then the possible reason is there is too many material piled up in the base or hopper locked by the piled up material. At this time, you should shut down the machine and begin troubleshooting process. |
If the inner surface of head drive shaft and hopper belt is too smooth, then the friction between them will be reduced, which will caused the hopper belt slipping. In this case, you can spread a thin layer on their inner surface to increase the friction.
The bearing of head and tail wheel occurs inefficient rotating will increased resistance torque and result in the hopper belt slipping. At this time, you can open, wash, oiling the bearing or change the bearing. |
