Brief Introduction
Trommel screen is special drum screening equipment, which is widely used in mining, power plant, coking plant, building materials, metallurgy industry and chemical industry etc. It effectively solves the problem of the vibrating screen mesh blocking, improving the yield and reliability of the screening system.

Trommel screen is composed of motor, reducer, cylindrical drum, frame and hopper.
 
Principle
In operation, the motor via the speed reducer is connected with drum device by the coupling, the drum drive rotating around its axis. When material flow towards along the inclined rotating drum, materials jump and roll , the undersized material smaller than the screen apertures passes through the screen wire mesh, while the oversized material passes out at the other end of the drum.
